What to check before you swap XRP
- Native XRP and the XRP token on BNB Chain are different assets: an r… address cannot receive the BEP-20 token, and a 0x address cannot receive native XRP.
- Your deposit address is a new XRP Ledger account. Your payment creates it, and the ledger refuses a first payment below the 1 XRP account reserve; ShadowSwap’s XRP minimum is well above that.
- Receiving XRP on an exchange account? Enter the destination tag the exchange gave you in the tag field; without it most exchanges cannot credit your payout. Use the classic r… address; X-addresses are not accepted.
- ShadowSwap credits the amount the ledger reports as delivered, so a “partial payment” that names a larger amount than it delivers only counts for what arrived. Issued tokens (IOUs) sent to the deposit address are not credited.
ShadowSwap adds no spread and no service fee: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live market prices, so “You receive” is your amount × that rate.
