What to check before you swap ADA
- Native ADA and the ADA token on BNB Chain are different assets on different networks: a Cardano addr1… address cannot receive the BEP-20 token, and a 0x address cannot receive native ADA.
- Payout addresses must be Shelley-era Cardano addresses starting with addr1. Legacy Byron addresses (Ae2… or DdzFF…) are not accepted.
- Every Cardano transaction output must carry a minimum amount of ADA (about 1 ADA for a plain ADA payment at current protocol parameters), so very small ADA amounts cannot be sent on their own.
- Send only ADA to a ShadowSwap Cardano deposit address. Native tokens sent along with your ADA are not credited and are not returned automatically.
ShadowSwap adds no spread and no service fee: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live market prices, so “You receive” is your amount × that rate.
