Swap Zcash (ZEC) Without KYC: Networks, Limits and Checks

ShadowSwap swaps ZEC with no account or KYC. Each ZEC deposit address it generates is a transparent (t1…) address, so the deposit is visible on-chain; the payout field accepts transparent, Sapling (zs…) and unified (u…) addresses.

Limits apply to the amount you send. Times are the deposit confirmations at typical block times; payouts are then sent manually by the ShadowSwap team.

What to check before you swap ZEC

  • Because the deposit address is transparent, the amount and the receiving address of your deposit are public, even if you send from a shielded wallet.
  • The payout form accepts t1/t3, zs and u addresses. Whether a payout to a shielded or unified address stays fully shielded depends on how it is sent, so ask support first if that matters to you.
  • Check that your wallet supports the address type you paste; not every Zcash wallet handles every type.

ShadowSwap adds no spread and no service fee: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live market prices, so “You receive” is your amount × that rate. The only deduction is the destination network fee for sending your coins, taken from the payout. Each quote is valid for 60 seconds. See fees and the network guide for every network's confirmations.
