How it works

1

Choose your pair

Select the cryptocurrency you want to send and the one you want to receive. We support 35+ coins and tokens across 10 networks.

2

Enter your address

Paste the wallet address where you want to receive funds. Standard swaps need no account, email or KYC.

3

Send and receive

Send your deposit to the unique address we provide. Once it has its network confirmations, the ShadowSwap team sends the swapped crypto to your wallet.

How do you choose a pair and network?

A pair is the coin you send and the coin you receive, and each side lives on one network. The same ticker can exist on several networks — USDT and USDC are listed on more than one — and every network is a separate blockchain with its own address format and fees. Pick the receive network your wallet or exchange actually supports for that coin, then paste an address from that network.

USDT is the most common example. The widget treats USDT on Tron and USDT on Ethereum as two different coins:

If you want Bitcoin as the payout, compare both routes in the USDT to Bitcoin guide.

  • USDT TRC-20 (Tron): address format starts with T; network fees are paid in TRX; deposits are credited after 20 confirmations on Tron (a few minutes to confirm on Tron + manual payout).
  • USDT ERC-20 (Ethereum): address format 0x followed by 40 hex characters; network fees are paid in ETH; deposits are credited after 12 confirmations on Ethereum (a few minutes to confirm on Ethereum + manual payout).

An Ethereum-style address (0x…) is also used on BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One and Base, so a valid-looking address does not prove you picked the right network: check it against your wallet. Coins sent on a network the swap does not expect may not be recoverable. ShadowSwap adds no spread or service fee, but the destination network fee is deducted from your payout and differs between networks — see fees for how the rate is built.

What should you check before you send?

  • The amount is within the minimum and maximum shown in the widget for that pair.
  • The receive address belongs to the receive network shown, and you control it.
  • You send exactly the amount shown, on the deposit network shown, within 30 minutes of creating the swap.
  • You keep the swap status link — with no account, it is the only way back to your order.

Frequently asked questions

No. We do not require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. ShadowSwap is designed for privacy-first users who want to exchange crypto without sharing identity documents or personal information: you never provide a name, email or ID. Order data such as amounts, addresses, transaction hashes and the IP address used to place the order is stored to process and protect swaps — see our Privacy Policy.

ShadowSwap adds no spread and no service fee: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live market prices, so “You receive” is your amount × that rate. The only deduction is the destination network fee for sending your coins, taken from the payout. Each quote is valid for 60 seconds.

It depends mostly on your deposit network: ShadowSwap waits for the required confirmations, which takes a few minutes on fast networks like Tron or Solana and longer on Bitcoin, where blocks arrive about every 10 minutes. Payouts are not automatic: once your deposit is confirmed, the ShadowSwap team sends your coins manually. You can follow each stage on your swap status page.
