Token transfer (about 65,000 gas) 0.02026 gwei
0.0000013169 ETH ≈ $0.003

Current gas price. Rollups also charge a small L1 data fee that is not included.

Base ETH

ETH transfer (21,000 gas) 0.006 gwei
0.000000126 ETH ≈ $0.0002
Token transfer (about 65,000 gas) 0.006 gwei
0.00000039 ETH ≈ $0.0009

Tron TRX

USDT transfer, recipient already holds USDT (about 65,000 energy) 100 sun/energy, 1000 sun/byte
6.845 TRX ≈ $2.1986
USDT transfer to a new holder (about 130,000 energy) 100 sun/energy, 1000 sun/byte
13.345 TRX ≈ $4.2864
TRX transfer without free bandwidth 1000 sun/byte
0.27 TRX ≈ $0.0867

Burned when the sender has no staked energy or bandwidth. Each account gets 600 free bandwidth a day, which usually covers a TRX transfer.

Solana SOL

Base fee (1 signature) 5,000 lamports/signature
0.000005 SOL ≈ $0.0004
With median priority fee 0 micro-lamports/CU
0.000005 SOL ≈ $0.0004

Base fee per signature plus the median recent priority fee, assuming the default 200,000 compute-unit limit. Wallets that set a tighter limit pay less.

Dogecoin DOGE

High priority 1.99852753 DOGE/kB

Low priority 0.13331977 DOGE/kB
0.03013026 DOGE ≈ $0.0022

For a typical 226-byte payment (1 input, 2 outputs).

Zcash ZEC

Typical transparent payment 5,000 zats/action
0.0001 ZEC ≈ $0.1312

Fixed by the ZIP-317 fee rule: 5,000 zatoshi per logical action, at least two actions.

Network fees and your swap

Of the three cost layers in a crypto swap — network fees, a provider fee and a spread built into the rate — ShadowSwap adds neither a service fee nor a spread: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live USD prices. What remains is the network fees: the destination network fee is deducted from your payout, and your wallet pays the fee for your deposit.

See fees and the network guide for which coin pays gas on each network.

How to use it

  1. Find the network you will send on. A token pays its fee in the network coin (USDT on Tron pays in TRX).
  2. Pick the row that matches your transfer: a coin transfer, a token transfer or a priority level.
  3. Make sure the sending wallet holds at least that much of the fee coin, plus a margin, before you send.

Frequently asked questions

USDT is a smart-contract token, so the transfer uses energy as well as bandwidth. Without staked TRX the energy is paid by burning TRX, and sending to an address that has never held USDT needs about twice the energy of sending to one that has.

Satoshis per virtual byte: the Bitcoin fee rate. The fee is the rate multiplied by the transaction size, so a payment with many inputs costs more at the same rate.

They show the layer 2 execution fee. Rollups also charge a small fee for posting data to Ethereum, which wallets add on top, so the total is slightly higher.

ShadowSwap adds no spread and no service fee: the rate is the ratio of the two coins’ live market prices, so “You receive” is your amount × that rate. The only deduction is the destination network fee for sending your coins, taken from the payout. Each quote is valid for 60 seconds.

Fees are read from public network providers and cached for 60 seconds. If one provider is down, only that network shows as unavailable.
